It is with great delight that we announce the 2024 Summer Holiday Musical ‘The Tale of Dilbert Clancy & the Simply Enormous Gold Nugget of Cooee Dupp.’

This is an inclusive holiday program for all children. This production features renowned Chinese author, Kate Liao, the founder of Morning Star. This program is run by Patrice from Gobsmacked Productions.

It’s a rootin’ tootin’ tale of the gold-mining city of Tumblebone. The city of Tumblebone boomed in the gold rush and owes most of its fame and fortune to one single giant nugget picked out of the earth, the simply enormous gold nugget of Cooee Dupp. The city couldn’t survive without the tourism the nugget brings, but Gloot the Gaffa and his Oddstick Outlaws couldn’t give a continental about what happens to the town. By hook or crook, it’s up to Dilbert Clancy and The Super Dandies to track those outlaws down and learn how to be the heroes who will reclaim the nugget and stop the town from fading into legend. A powerful story about the effect of greed and what it can do to our hearts if we let it creep in.

The production is for children aged 6 – 16 years. This production promotes inclusion in the arts and is an excellent fundraiser.

Young people (aged 14 years and above), who have a passion for learning how to teach performing arts, may sign up as volunteers. Please get in contact to find out more.
